GOYA Advisor: Anna Duffey & Nia Kalogeros
The Greek Orthodox Youth of America is for the young people of our church from grades 6-12. Throughout the year, GOYA conducts fund raisers, donates some of these funds to local charities and attends a number of conferences and retreats within the diocese. GOYA meetings are held once a month.
Acolytes Contact: Emily Wheeler
Boys in grades 3-12 are offered the privilege to serve in the Altar on Sundays during Divine Liturgy and during other services when available. Father Anthony will conduct training sessions so the altar boys will know what is needed in the altar. Click here for the St. George Greek Orthodox Church Acolyte Requirements for Acolyte Ranks.
Youth Choir Contact: Connie Ross
Children ages 6 and up are welcome to join the youth choir on the first Sunday of each month. This is a wonderful opportunity for the children to learn the many hymns of the Divine Liturgy.

JOY & HOPE Contact: Jenna Konomos
Junior Orthodox Youth (JOY) ministers to youth in grades 2-5 while Holy Orthodox Primary Education (HOPE) ministers to youth in grades K-2. At St. George, these two groups are combined.
JOY & HOPE were created to help the younger members our church learn more about their Orthodox faith and service to their church and community, build friendships with other children at church all while having a good time! Each gathering combines a service project and social activity each month during the school year.
